CEO of Tabasco brand company dies at 68
NEW ORLEANS - Sources say, Paul McIlhenny, the current Chairman of the Board and CEO of McIlhenny Company known for making the Famous Tabasco Hot Sauce died Saturday at his home in New Orleans.
McIlhenny was the sixth generation to run the company that was founded in 1868 on Avery Island, Louisiana in Iberia Parish.
The company is one of the most successful brands of hot sauce. It is distributed in over 150 countries around the world.
McIlhenny was 68 years old.
