BAKER - Police arrested a man Thursday accused of shooting his ex's new boyfriend in late March. 

The shooting was reported March 28 on Seville Drive in Baker, but few other details were immediately available. Police said both victims—the shooter's ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend—were in the car at the time, but only the boyfriend was shot.  

Police arrested suspect Keldrick Coates Thursday for his alleged involvement in the shooting. He was charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count each of illegal carrying of weapons and illegal possession of firearms.
