BATON ROUGE - Police asked for the public's help identifying an armed man who robbed a gas station worker Monday morning.

Cpl. Don Coppola said the man robbed the Circle K on Brightside Drive around 6 a.m., demanding money from the employee after showing them a gun.

Police said no one was hurt.

Coppola said the robber was a black man standing between 5' 8" and 5' 9", weighing 140-150 pounds and wearing a black hooded jacket with tan pants and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about the man's identity should call the Baton Rouge Police Armed Robbery Division at (225) 336-3845.
