BATON ROUGE - Surveillance video captured one UPS driver's unexpected encounter with a snake as he made a delivery at a Louisiana home last week. 

A video of the encounter was uploaded to Youtube by Colin Luke on Friday. According to UPI, Luke says the security camera on the front porch of his Baton Rouge home caught the whole ordeal on video that same day.

In the video, the driver can be seen calmly approaching the porch with two packages in-hand. At the same time, the sneaky serpent can also be seen hiding behind a potted plant, just out of the man's view.

As he goes to place the packages at the doorstep, the unsuspecting worker finally notices the snake slithering by his feet. The man promptly drops the packages on the ground and hops over some plants as he flees across the resident's yard.

Two days later, the same driver can be seen returning for another delivery at the residence. But this time, he opts to toss the package to the front door from a safe distance.
