Two shot Tuesday night, attempt to get to hospital leads to situation on O'Neal
BATON ROUGE - Two people were shot and somehow ended up stopped on O'Neal Lane late Tuesday but eventually made it to the hospital.
Police released additional information Wednesday morning about the situation after reports of shooting victims on O'Neal near I-12 the night before. Police said the two victims, 25 and 31, were shot in the 1100 block of Christy Drive. A vehicle they were initially in stopped for an unknown reason on O'Neal and eventually the two victims were taken by another car to a hospital.
Police blocked off the area of O'Neal as they investigated the case Tuesday night.
Police did not release additional information about the situation on O'Neal. Officers said there are no motives or suspects in the case.
