BATON ROUGE – East Baton Rouge Sheriff's detectives are looking for three men wanted for robbing a man on GSRI Avenue.

The robbery occurred on Nov. 21 around 3:15 a.m. in the 8500 block of GSRI Avenue.

According to reports, the victim was walking to work when a white four-door vehicle stopped near him. The victim stated that two black men were wearing white masks as they got out of the vehicle, while the driver stayed inside. The two men then approached the man and demanded his cell phone and the password to unlock it and left.

Deputies learned that the three suspects matching the description went into a gas station in the Burbank Drive area before the robbery occurred.

The three arrived in a white four-door vehicle and one of the men was wearing a white mask as he entered the store. After seeing the three suspects on surveillance video from the gas station, the victim was able to confirm that they were the men who robbed him.

Anyone with information concerning this incident or the identity of the suspects is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office at 225-389-5000.
