Last year, the McLin's were trapped in their Shadow Springs neighborhood, unable to move their car from the rapidly rising water. A small boat, packed with people, passed by them.
"It just so happened when we came up with the boat he was pushing his car back and she had the window down," Ronnie Johnson said.
Their boat was already packed, but Ronnie and Beth Johnson didn't think twice about making room for baby Alexandra and her parents.
Eventually, the families parted ways. And in all of the confusion, the four never exchanged names.
"I needed to thank them," Stephanie McLin said. "I needed to see them again."

After posting about their encounter on Facebook, Stephanie soon got her wish. A year later, they invited News Two's Natalia Verdina to their emotional reunion.
"'The baby! The baby!'" Ronnie said, imitating his wife.
"We always said 'the baby!'" Beth added. "Not that we don't care Stephanie and him, but we just had this 4-week-old baby in our boat."
This time, the two families say they plan to keep in touch.
