LSU sports legend Skip Bertman expected to be released from hospital this weekend
BATON ROUGE - Skip Bertman, LSU's former head baseball coach and athletic director, is in the hospital this week.will be heading back home soon after spending much of the past week in the hospital.
Bertman is being treated for an infection but is said to be resting comfortably and doing well. He's expected to be released from the hospital sometime this weekend, according to a university spokesperson.
Bertman, who is 82 years old, has tested negative for COVID-19.
