LSU softball to settle split series Sunday
BATON ROUGE – No. 13 LSU softball was able to shutout the Washington Huskies 6-0 in Game one of the Saturday double header in Tiger Park. Hours later the Huskies would get their revenge, defeating the Tigers 9-4.
The two teams set off to settle the series at noon Sunday.
“I feel that our mindset tomorrow will be more about guts than anything,” LSU’s Sahvanna Jaquish said. “It’s not about any streaks or any numbers, it’s about who wants it more and who has more guts.”
Despite Saturday’s loss in game two, LSU head coach Beth Torina says her team is in a good spot.
