Deputies seek two men in connection with fatal shooting of Hammond teen
HAMMOND - Authorities are searching for two persons of interest in connection with a Monday night shooting that left a 19-year-old dead.
The shooting occurred around 9:40 p.m. Monday on Bruce Allen Road in Hammond.
According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, Leroy Sims III of Hammond was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe the shooting was a result of illegal drug activity.
The sheriff's office is now looking for 38-year-old Steven Antonio Brown, also known as Bo-Peep, of Hammond and 23-year-old Edward Marshall of Hammond. Both subjects are allegedly connected to a black in color 2006 BMW.
