Cool today, but not that cool

A chilly start this morning. Any leftover cloud cover will be out of here soon, leaving us with a beautiful day and cooler temperatures this afternoon. How much cooler? Well enough, but not as much as you may think.

We've been well above average over the past seven days, and now that a cold front has moved through, we are a lot cooler. With that said, we are actually still a couple of degrees above average. It's not by much, but some places could possible squeak into the 70's today. It will definitely feel comfortable, but we will warm up a bit until Wednesday, when another front will be pushing through.

This front won't have too much vigor, but we'll see some showers and then another blast of cold air. This will drop us back down to the 30's for a few nights by the time the "force awakens." Keep that in mind if you're heading out for any midnight showings Thursday night. If you've been hoping that the warm temperatures would still be there by then, you've been looking in "Alderaan" places.
