BATON ROUGE - BRPD detectives are investigating a shooting that left one man dead late Sunday morning in Baton Rouge.

22-year-old Jered McCalope was found in a parking lot in the 6700 block of Rembrandt Avenue around 11:30 a.m. suffering from a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have yet to identify suspects or motive at this time.
