BRCC announces campus closures due to Hurricane Nate

BATON ROUGE - All Baton Rouge Community College sites will close and all events are canceled beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday as a precautionary measure related to Hurricane Nate.

According to a news release, the closure includes Mid City Campus, Acadian Site, Automotive Training Center, Frazier Site, Jackson Site, New Roads Site and Port Allen Site.

"Baton Rouge Community College officials will continue to closely monitor weather announcements and conditions.

All BRCC students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to monitor their college-wide email, the college's website (www.mybrcc.edu), social media sites, and local media sources for the latest updates and announcements made related to the weather conditions.

Students, faculty, and staff are also urged to adhere to city- and state-wide recommendations concerning the storm and safety precautions."
