PORT ALLEN - Authorities are investigating whether a dispute between spouses led to a man's death in West Baton Rouge Parish over the weekend.

According to the West Baton Rouge Coroner's Office, 57-year-old David Marks was found dead at a home in Port Allen Sunday. On Monday, the coroner's office determined that the cause of death was a heart attack.

Investigators believe Marks was having a domestic dispute with his wife shortly before he died. It has yet to be determined if the death will be ruled natural or intentional.

The incident is still under investigation and no charges have been filed as of Monday afternoon.
