Turkeys get luxury hotel room before pardoning ceremony
WASHINGTON, D.C.-The turkeys set to be pardoned in a time-honored tradition Tuesday stayed in a luxury hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue.
WWL-TV reports that The Hill said the two turkeys stayed at the Willard International hotel. The Hill reports that the National Turkey Federation will pay for the lodging, as in the past.

President Donald Trump will pardon the national Thanksgiving turkeys in a Rose Garden ceremony Tuesday.

According to the White House, the two turkeys featured in the ceremony were raised in Minnesota. After the pardoning, the turkeys will live out the rest of their lives at Virginia Tech University.
