Sony to launch virtual reality headset in October
SAN FRANCISCO - Sony confirmed on Tuesday that it will launch a PlayStation VR virtual reality headset in October for $399.
The announcement was made during an event at the Game Developer’s Conference in California.
The company says that more than 230 developers and publishers are working on the software that is compatible with PlayStation VR.
As of Jan., the company reports that sales of Sony’s video game console topped $35 million worldwide.
