Overnight police pursuit ends on Highland Road, near Burbank
BATON ROUGE - A police pursuit that occurred early Tuesday morning in the Highland Road-Burbank area ended in an arrest, authorities say.
According to representatives with the Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD), it was nearly 11 p.m. when officers were notified that a man who was in the parking lot of a Circle K on Highland Road and Starring Lane was allegedly flashing a gun.
Police went to the area to investigate and came in contact with a man named Henry Tillotson.
According to police, Tillotson fled the scene in a vehicle, but his automobile got stuck in the 4700 block of Higland Road.
Tillotson did not give up at this point, but fled on foot into a nearby wooded area, behind a cluster of apartments on Burbank Drive, officers say.
Authorities launched BRPD’s Air One (Helicopter Unit) as well as a BRPD K9 Unit, and with this assistance, they were able to apprehend Tillotson.

Tillotson was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and charged with Resisting an Officer, Aggravated Flight, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Schedule I Narcotic and as a Fugitive of EBRSO.
