Multi-vehicle crash on I-110 southbound shuts down morning commute for hours
BATON ROUGE - A multi-car crash on I-110 southbound near Chippewa shut down Interstate traffic Wednesday morning.
The Baton Rouge Fire Department said the crash involved at least five vehicles, one of which caught fire.
No severe injuries were reported, but I-110 southbound was shut down at Chippewa during recovery operations. Traffic was diverted off the Interstate at the Chippewa exit while officials worked on vehicle recovery and cleanup operations.
