Motorcyclist dies after crash on Scenic Hwy
BATON ROUGE - A man has died from injuries sustained during a motorcycle crash on Scenic Highway Friday morning.
Authorities said the 60-year-old motorcyclist happened Friday morning at around 6:30 a.m. in the 8000 block of Scenic Highway when the man was hit by a Ford pickup truck that making a left turn from southbound Scenic onto Harding Boulevard.
The motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital where he would later die from injuries sustained in the wreck.
The driver of the truck was ticketed for failure to yield on a left turn.
More information concerning the crash is expected.
