Man shot to death in Baton Rouge on Tuesday was possibly linked to Baker shooting
BATON ROUGE - The victim of a shooting near North Foster Drive on Tuesday was a person of interest in an investigation into a Baker shooting earlier this week.
The shooting was reported around 3:40 p.m. at the corner of Wilmot Street and Addison Street, near North Foster Drive. The victim, later identified as 35-year-old Christopher Jackson, died at the scene.
Police said Wednesday morning that Jackson was reportedly involved in a fight with another man before he was shot and killed. The Baker Police Department later confirmed that Jackson was a person of interest in its investigation into a Monday night shooting on Lavey Lane that left 24-year-old Jaylen Maiden dead.
This is a developing story.
