Man claiming to work for Roblox facing 195 new charges for child sex abuse material
NEW ORLEANS — A man claiming to be a Roblox programmer was booked for 195 new counts of child sexual abuse material under the age of 13 following his prior arrest for possession of child pornography.
Officers said on February 25, Jamie Borne, 30, admitted to purchasing a child sex doll as well as to possessing child pornography on several devices when parole officers discovered the doll during a compliance check.
On Thursday, officials announced the 195 new charges for child sexual abuse material under the age of 13, as well as two counts of sexual abuse of an animal.
Borne, who was on probation for aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon and illegal discharge of weapons, allegedly told officers that he was a programmer for Roblox, a platform on which users can create and play different games and chat with each other.
A spokesperson from Roblox told WBRZ that Borne has never worked for the company.
