LSU student relives appearance on Jeopardy! College Championship
BATON ROUGE - LSU senior Kevin Brown joined us on News 2 at 4 to break down his experience as the first Tiger to appear in the Jeopardy! College Championship.
While it wasn’t recorded yesterday, the pre-taped show aired yesterday so Brown was able to enjoy watching it from the comfort of his on-campus dorm with plenty of friends to cheer him on, even though he already knew the outcome of his quarterfinals appearance.
While Brown wasn’t able to pull out the win, he said appearing on the show and watching it at LSU were both a phenomenal experience.
Brown says he’s been able to move and heal from the sting from those Trebek answers for which he was unable to pull out the correct questions. One of the questions discussed during the attached clip was from the SEC football category. Brown wasn’t able to get that one right, but the answer was related to the Alabama Crimson Tide, which completely eliminates any blame from him for having let those points slide after last season.
Check out the attached video to hear more about what it was like for Kevin on the show.
