BATON ROUGE – Police spent Tuesday morning searching for three people seen inside a Hundred Oaks home wearing masks.

Authorities said a housekeeper arrived at the home in the 2900 block of Reymond Drive Tuesday to find the group inside. One of the three appeared to be armed, police said.  The group left when the housekeeper got there.

Surveillance video obtained by WBRZ shows the three suspects fleeing the scene of the burglary.

The three are seen walking toward the home around 7:37 a.m. Tuesday. About 10 minutes later, that same surveillance camera caught the burglars as they ran out of the home.

No one was hurt in the altercation, police said.

Authorities have not identified any suspects.

Police dotted the neighborhood during the investigation, an upscale street where large homes dot the boulevard off Perkins Road.  The activity Tuesday was unusual - a check of the city's crime complaint database showed no reports of criminal activity in the area in the last six months.
