Coroner says 1-year-old found unresponsive has died
BATON ROUGE - Police said they're investigating what happened to a one-year-old child who was found unresponsive and who the coroner said later died Wednesday in Baton Rouge.
Baton Rouge Police said they were called to 8770 Elm Grove Garden around 9 a.m. for reports of an unresponsive child. Authorities told News 2 they were told the child was found in a bathtub.
Police said the child was taken to the hospital, and the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office said they later died.
