COLLEGE STATION – The Tigers only scored one run in its Saturday win against No. 2 Texas A&M in Blue Bell Park. The Aggies took the SEC series with its second win 3-1.

LSU dropped to 16-7 overall and 2-4 in SEC play. The Aggies improved to 21-3 and 4-2 in the SEC.

“It was another very competitive, close game with Texas A&M, which seems to happen every time we play them,” LSU coach Paul Mainieri said.
