Accused killer gives birth pending trial
BATON ROUGE - Brittany Monk, a woman accused of murdering the man who admitted to molesting her when she was a young girl, gave birth to her only child last Tuesday according to her fiance's father.
Monk, 18, and her fiancé Jace Crehan, 21, are accused of killing Robert Noce, 47, of Zachary in July. Weeks before, Noce pleaded guilty to molesting Monk from the time she was 4 to 8.
On September 2 the couple was indicted for second-degree murder, and Monk entered a plea of not guilty. Crehan has yet to enter a plea.
Layton Crehan told News 2 that last Tuesday Monk gave birth to a son, Vaan Jace Crehan, at Woman's Hospital.

Noce was found stabbed strangled and stuffed in a barrel and his Zachary home in July according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office. Before being arrested, sheriff's deputies said Crehan confessed his role in the killing to investigators. DNA evidence linked Monk to the scene according to investigators.
