Yuengling Lager finally makes its way to Louisiana
BATON ROUGE - Yuengling Lager has finally made its way to select locations in the state with some of those sellers receiving their supply on Monday.
It makes Louisiana the 19th state where suds from "America's oldest brewery" can now be purchased.
Restaurants and stores in Baton Rouge reported they've already received their first stocks of the beer maker's Traditional Lager, Light Lager and Black and Tan brands
Yuengling is based in Pennsylvania and has been producing beer since the 1800's.
Restaurants in Baton Rouge now serving the beer include the original Chimes, Fred's, The Bulldog and Walk On's. Stores carrying Yuengling include the Burbank Winn Dixie, Albertson's on Government and the Walmart on College Drive.
A section of the brewery's website allows you to plug in your zip code in order to find the closest restaurant or store where Yuengling is available.
