Teen robbed at gunpoint at Cottages Apartment complex
BATON ROUGE – A 17-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint Friday morning after meeting a man and taking him back to her apartment near LSU, police said.
According to Baton Rouge Police, the crime happened around midnight Friday morning at the Cottages apartment complex on Ben Hur Road.
Sgt. L’Jean McKneely said the victim reported that the man needed to get something from his car. When he returned to the apartment, two men forced their way into the apartment and robbed the girl of cash, a purse and an iPad.
McKneely said the men escaped in black Ford Mustang. It is not clear whether the girl’s guest was with them.
