LAPLACE- The St. John Parish Sheriff's Office continues to investigate a triple shooting in LaPlace that has left two people dead and one injured.
The shooting took place early Monday morning.
Deputies say 23-year-old Travis Gregoire died at the scene and two others were taken to a hospital in New Orleans. A second victim, 18-year-old Sierra Gregoire died at the hospital. A 23-year-old man remains in the hospital.
Sheriff Mike Tregre says investigators are looking for a white, four-door pickup. He said the vehicle was seen in the area near the time of the shooting.
Tregre said it appeared the victims had just parked and were getting out of their vehicle when the shooting began. He said investigators are still looking for a motive.
