Ricky Foster, subject of documentary, accused of sex crimes in Livingston Parish
LIVINGSTON — A Livingston Parish man who was the subject of a documentary called "The Devil Wears Dunks" has been arrested on sex-crime-related charges, the sheriff's office said Wednesday.
Deputies say that, last week, they received allegations of sexual abuse involving Ricky Foster.
“Contact was made with a victim who stated she was in a relationship with Ricky Foster from January to August 2023. During that time, the victim revealed that on numerous occasions - without her consent - she was forced to perform sexual acts with Foster," Sheriff Jason Ard said.
The victim also said Foster took out credit card loans worth over $70,000.00 without her knowledge. The victim said she was told that if she did not submit to various sexual acts, Foster would not repay the money.
"We also believe more victims could be out there. I’m asking you to come forward & work with our detectives," Ard said.
Foster, 46, is accused of 10 counts of third-degree rape, 10 counts of extortion and four counts of sexual battery.
