Pizza delivery driver shot, robbed at gunpoint
BATON ROUGE - Police said a Domino's pizza delivery driver was shot and robbed while making a delivery in the 4000 block of Shelley Street Thursday night.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said three suspects tried to force their way into the 20-year-old driver's vehicle. When the victim attempted to fight the suspects off, she was shot in the arm, according to police.
Police said the suspects grabbed the food items and fled the scene on foot. They are described as black males between 15 and 17 years of age.
As of Friday morning, the victim remained in an area hospital.
