Man dies after hitting utility pole
LIVINGSTON PARISH - A 57-year-old man died around 1 a.m. Saturday after hitting an electric utility pole on Burgess Road, according to a Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office press release.
The release says the 57-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A 29-year-old passenger refused medical treatment.
The crash investigation is ongoing, according to the release.
