HAMMOND - Sheriff’s deputies in Tangipahoa Parish asked for the public’s help Friday in locating a man wanted in connection with a rape back in August.
TPSO Sheriff Daniel Edwards said 34-year-old Marcus Henderson, of Hammond, is wanted on an aggravated rape charge in connection with the incident that happened on Aug. 25 at around 8:15 a.m.
The sheriff says Henderson is accused of entering a female friend’s residence and forcing her to have sex with him. During the rape, Henderson threatened her with a loaded handgun, according to investigators.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Henderson is urged to contact the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office at (985) 345-6150.
