BATON ROUGE - LSU reports they’ll receive 20,000 tickets for the 2016 season-opener against Wisconsin at legendary Lambeau Field.

The Tigers and the Badgers will take to the field in the historic home of the NFL’s Green Bay Packers on Saturday, Sept. 3 with kickoff time and television plans to be announced at a later date.

The price points for LSU’s ticket allotment are $91, $104 and $118, with ticket prices varying based on seat location, according to LSU athletics.

Season ticket holders will receive request forms for the Wisconsin game in April. The deadline for submitting ticket requests is May 31.

“We expect this to be one of the most in-demand tickets for a regular-season non-conference game that we have ever had,” Associated Athletic Director for Ticket Operations Brian Broussard said.

Demand is expected to outstrip availability with these tickets, so Broussard says limits will have to be enforced. The school doesn’t anticipate any tickets to go on sale to the public through this allotment.

Broussard also points out that there will be a limited number of student tickets available to LSU students at a reduced rate. Information on these student tickets for the Badgers/Tigers meeting will be announced later this spring.

Details about game day parking and tailgating are expected to be released when available.
