BREAUX BRIDGE — A drug bust in St. Martin Parish led to the seizure of several marijuana plants, according to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office.

According to deputies, the plants were recovered following the execution of a search warrant on Leger Road after the sheriff's office received information about suspected illegal drug activity.

In addition to the plants, about 293 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, a box of clear plastic bags consistent with drug distribution and about 307 grams of suspected kief, a concentrated form of marijuana, were recovered.

Deputies arrested 71-year-old Oliver Lippy of Breaux Bridge on several charges, including possession with intent to distribute, creation or operation of a clandestine laboratory for the unlawful manufacture of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
