UPDATE: Authorities say a drug deal led to two people fatally shooting each other in Port Allen Monday night.

The men have been identified as 25-year-old Harold Baise 33-year-old Koveria Wright.

PORT ALLEN - West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Deputies are responding to a double shooting in Port Allen on Ave. D.

Two people were shot in the incident. 

According to Port Allen Police Chief Esdron Brown, both injured people were transported to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Brown says there is a possibility they were shooting at each other.  

The call came in around 9:00 p.m.
