Miss LA wins swimsuit competiton in Miss America

Thursday night, Miss Louisiana won the lifestyle and fitness portion of the 2017 Miss America Competition.
Laryssa Bonacquisti of Shreveport, along with women from Minnesota, Texas and Utah, took home wins in the second night of the preliminary competition.
Bonacquisti also won the talent portion on the first preliminary night.
The next Miss America will be crowned in Sunday night's televised finale on WBRZ Channel 2.
