Devon Gales' road to recovery 2
BATON ROUGE - Since suffering a serious spinal injury back in September, Southern University's Devon Gales has inspired people all over the world with his courage and positive attitude. He arrived back in Baton Rouge last weekend after spending the last six months at a rehab facility in Atlanta.
Gales stopped by 2une In Wednesday morning to talk to JP and Kylie about how his road to recovery and what he has planned for the future.
Gales has progressed immensely since suffering the injury during a football game against the University of Georgia. He says that he's much further along than doctors expected and is positive that he will eventually walk again.
"Anything is possible," said Gales. "As long as you put in work into what you want you'll come out with it."
