WASHINGTON - The White House says it's not certain that President Barack Obama would sign a budget bill unveiled by the Senate's top Republican.

Spokesman Josh Earnest says Obama is disappointed the bill doesn't include money to help Flint, Michigan, and other cities deal with lead in their water. Earnest says Obama also has concerns about a provision that would protect the ability of special interests to fund political campaigns without being required to disclose the donations.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky unveiled the bill Thursday to prevent the government from shutting down next weekend. It would provide more than $1 billion to battle the Zika virus, and $500 million for Louisiana to rebuild after recent flooding.

Earnest says it's "unclear at best" whether the bill even gets to Obama.
