Sherman St. house destroyed in overnight fire
BATON ROUGE - A Baton Rouge home was destroyed after an overnight fire.
The blaze was reported just before 2 a.m. Tuesday in the 4300 block of Sherman Street. At the scene, firefighters found the vacant house fully engulfed in flames.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
Officials say the house is considered a total loss.
