Security video captures moment of deadly Livingston Parish crash
LIVINGSTON – A woman died in a crash that was caught on camera Tuesday.
The unidentified driver of a pickup missed a stop sign at the intersection of Walker South Road and Hammick Road, went airborne and crashed into a tree. Video from a nearby business recorded the truck speeding down the road, through the intersection and into the tree.
After the crash, good Samaritans pulled the woman from the vehicle and tried to revive her with CPR. The woman was flown from to a hospital in Baton Rouge but did not survive.
The name of the woman killed has not been released.
