ASCENSION – Deputies in Ascension Parish have arrested a second suspect wanted for burglarizing a home in Prarieville Wednesday night.

Deputies identified 18-year-old Delton Selders as one of the men in surveillance photos Friday night, and he was arrested Saturday morning and charged with possession of stolen things, damage to property and simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

The initial suspect, Myron Turner, was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Baton Rouge Friday morning. Turner is accused of kicking in a door at a home on Lauren Drive, stealing a 42-inch television and $800. Deputies say Turner posted an Instagram photo of him with the stacks of cash moments after the crime.  No one was inside the home at the time of the burglary.

Deputies said surveillance video captured Turner and Selders leaving the home in a gray vehicle.

Turner was arrested in 2015 for charges of second-degree rape of a girl in a high school locker room.

Turner has been extradited from East Baton Rouge to face charges in Ascension.
