Police arrest fifth suspect wanted in LSU armed robbery
BATON ROUGE- Police have arrested the fifth and final suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery at Cypress Hall on LSU's campus.
The armed robbery occurred on Feb. 14, 2020 at 2:30 a.m. According to the arrest report, three armed suspects robbed two LSU students of their IPhones, a playstation controller, and the keys to one of their cars.
LSU Police arrested 19-year-old Desmond Tolbert on Sunday. Tolbert joins Lorenzo Fisher, Timothy A. Williams, Stefan Mann, and Donta Green in East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Fisher and Green were arrested and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Friday, Feb. 21, Mann and Williams were both arrested Monday evening.
Green was charged with armed robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, and carrying a firearm on school property.
Fisher was charged with armed robbery and theft of a motor vehicle.
Williams was arrested for armed robbery and theft of a motor vehicle, and Mann was arrested for armed robbery.Both Williams and Mann were students at Southern University.
LSU Police have also recovered the stolen vehicle.
