Local high school student earns perfect score on the ACT
ST. AMANT - A high school senior in Ascension Parish is being lauded for a rare accomplishment after she made a perfect score on the ACT exam.
According to Andrea Broussard with the Ascension Parish School Board, student Blaire Peterson earned a perfect 36 on the ACT. In 2017, the national average for the test is a 21, according to scholarprep.com.
Peterson is also a National Merit Scholar finalist and participates in a number of extracurricular activities at St. Amant High.
