BATON ROUGE - "What I could say, is one of my most difficult seasons is this season, dealing with injuries and stuff."

Most wouldn't have expected to see Leonard Fournette breaking off big yards at a time, or even be out there on the field considering the high and low ankle sprain he's been fight this season.

"I could've sat out but that's not me. At the end of the day, I believe any athlete or any competitor loves to compete. I would never jump ship on those guys in there. That's just my character and how I was raised and how I was brought up. Despite when your back's against the wall you never give up. It's the last home game and I want to be there and experience it with my brothers."

And Fournette says he's not going to miss this final game at Tiger Stadium. It's most likely his final home game as a Tiger as the NFL is lurking in Fournette's future.

"I think it's a decision I'll have to make with the team as whole. We have a lot of juniors on the team and seniors leaving. So we'll just have to see. You just think about everything you're leaving behind. But also I know you're going to have new things when you go. There's just so many memories and experiences you have here."

Fournette didn't add a Heisman trophy or a national championship to the Trophy
But he will be remembered as one of the best running backs t o ever take the field at tiger stadium.
An experience he will always have to look back on.

"Throughout my whole experience at LSU since my freshman year since I stepped foot on campus, it's been exciting. The good, the bad, I enjoyed every bit of it. And besides nobody likes paying for stuff, college has it's ups and downs, but you enjoy it."

Fans have enjoyed some memorable moments with Leonard no doubt, but which one sticks out in his mind?

"My favorite run? Man, I had a lot. I think the Auburn game. Still when I watch it to this day I can't believe I did that."

There's still a shot that Leonard could make more memories like that, maybe in his hometown of New Orleans.
The Sugar Bowl at the end of the season is the new target for Leonard to try and hit.

"To end it where I'm from, for all of our fans to be there, it would be a tremendous feeling."
