HENDERSON - A fiery crash on the Basin Bridge shut down traffic on I-10 East, causing huge delays for traffic heading to Baton Rouge during the afternoon commute Wednesday.

As of around 5 p.m., it appeared firefighters had the flames under control, though traffic was still at a complete stop before the LA 3177 exit. 

It's unclear whether anyone was seriously hurt in the wreck.
