BATON ROUGE - Those looking to get into the film industry will soon have a chance to pick up some valuable skills.

The Baton Rouge Film Commission has announced plans for a creative freelancer workshop April 7. The workshop will go over industry standards in pricing, best practices for working with clients and how to protect your work and time.

The event will last from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Creative Bloc Building of NOVAC:BR in Downtown Baton Rouge.

According to a release, all participants will leave the workshop with the following:
