Accused killer Dakota Theriot back in Louisiana to face charges
ASCENSION PARISH - An accused killer has waived extradition and been brought back to Louisiana to face charges after a shooting spree last weekend that left five people dead.
Dakota Theriot was flown back Friday afternoon. He'll be booked into the Ascension Parish Jail through the weekend before reportedly being transferred to Livingston Parish sometime next week.
Theriot is accused of shooting his parents, his girlfriend, and members of her family on January 26. After the shootings, he fled the state and drove to Virginia.
