16-year-old arrested after deadly armed robbery Saturday, second suspect still wanted
UPDATE: The sheriff's office says a teenager has been arrested for this weekend's murder on Jade Avenue.
Deputies say the 16-year-old has been taken into custody and is charged with First Degree Murder, Attempted First Degree Murder, Illegal Use of a Weapon, Armed Robbery and Juvenile in Possession of a Handgun.
Officers are still trying to identify the second suspect.
BATON ROUGE - A 24-year-old died in an overnight double shooting, sheriff's deputies said Saturday.
Ricardo Alberto Agular died after being shot. A second person was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The shooting happened on Jade Avenue around 3:40 a.m. Saturday.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office said deputies responded after being called to a report of shots being fired.
