More sunshine as temperatures heat up through the holiday weekend.

Tonight & Tomorrow: Temperatures tonight will be in the low 60s with low humidity. It might even feel a little chilly, but it will not last long. Saturday temperatures will be back in the upper 80s with mostly sunny skies and comfortable humidity. Saturday night will have temperatures will start to rebound in the mid-60s.

Up Next: Sunday temperatures will scratch the low 90s as humidity starts to make a comeback. Overnight lows will bump up a few degrees, in the upper 60s.

An *AIR QUALITY ALERT* has been issued for the Baton Rouge area for Saturday. Light morning winds will reduce pollutant dispersion and continued warm temperatures and sunny skies will enhance ozone formation. Therefore, air quality levels will be Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups in the Baton Rouge area. You can help mitigate this issue and reduce emissions by driving less and refueling very early or very late in the day.

Monday will be a bit muggier with temperatures in the low 90s. A few stray showers may be around on Monday afternoon, but most of the day will be sunny and not everyone will see rain.
